Why did my bf say this? Was he only using me for sex and money?

I broke up with my bf because he was getting addicted to gambling and I refused to lend him any more money. I told him that I want to stay friends with him, but that he couldn't ask for $ and sex any more. When I said that he turned into a beast, saying that he won't take orders from a woman, that he has no feelings toward me, and other very hurting stuff. I am in shock. Did he really mean this? What should I do, I am so hurt!

people get mean when they want something and you tell them no.As you stated he is addicted to gambling,he will try to get money out of you again.
